During this weekend we made seal safaris in quite wintery conditions -cold and snowy! Happily, seals were at their favorite places and we had a good safari and some nice photos! Now the weather is getting warmer and seal safaris continue daily!

Lake is finally free from the ice and we have started the fishing trips. Pike is biting after the winter and we got some nice catch during the first spinning trip. Here is our youngest fisherman with 3kg pike. Well done!

On Saturday we were able to skate and on Sunday it was snowing a lot again as the weather forecast predicted. We will open the skating route again as soon as possible but until then only the walking route is open. We also arrange guided snowmobile safaris on the lake.

We have set several dates for guided paddling tours for this summer. All our guided tours are full service including all paddling and camping gear adn meals. Tours from 8 hours up to 3 days, all in Linnansaari or Kolovesi National Parks. Read more and sign up!

We are getting closer to the skating season. Staff is preparing the skates and following the daily weather reports. Now we just need bit more minus degrees and no snow for a while! The lake is still open and we are travelling to Linnansaari by boat. Snow conditions are good and the snowshoe tracks in Porokylä (Reindeer village) are already open.
Our route masters are ready for the ice to come and we’ll let you know asap when we can go skate. Follow the journal and our Facebook for the news!
