Today you can skate from Oravi to Linnansaari and all the way to the deep-water channel. On Saturday the whole route will be open from Oravi to Järvisydan. We celebrate the opening of the skating season.

The route from Oravi to Linnansaari was ploughed today. There is still some snow on the ice so we recommend that you use ticks when skating. Before the weekend we will prepare the ice with better equipment. Part of the lake is not covered with snow. On Saturday we arrange a guided trip outside the icetrail.

Today our guides have marked a safe skating route from Oravi to Linnansaari (ca 5 km) and from Järvisydän to Pikku-Lappi island (4 km). The ice thickness is 5-10 cm on the route. Stay on the route!
