On this self guided paddling trip you can enjoy the beutiful archipelago of Linnansaari National Park. The national park has hundreds of islands and untouched nature that guarantees you a peaceful experience. If you are lucky you can meet one of the Saimaa Ringed Seals, otters, beavers or osprays that live in the area.
Accommodation and the base camp is on the main island of Linnansaari National Park. Its ca. 5km of paddling from Oravi (mainland). In Oravi is located the outdoor center where you will get the canoe, paddling gear and route instructions. There is also a shop and restaurant in Oravi.
Accommodation in a traditional log hut on the main island. Every hut has two bunk beds (4 places to sleep, matrasses, blankets and pillows), table and benches. Take your own bed linen / sleeping bag or rent them from Oravi gear rental place. There is no electricity in the hut. Hut is booked privately for you.
Campsite has a kiosk, well, outdoor kitchen, eco-toilets and wood-heated sauna (can be reserved online). The hut will be at your use from 2pm onwards until 12noon on the departure date.
On the island there are several marked hiking routes 2-7km and a museum croft.
Please notice that the accommodation is on an island so you need to start your trip with 5km paddling.
Package includes an indian canoe, accommodation in private hut, life jackets, dry bags/ barrels, waterproof paddling map and route planning for 2 persons. The canoe is at your use from 12noon (on arrival day) until 9pm (on departure day).

It is possible to add an extra person with 30€/ night from the extra services. If you are more than 3 persons, please book several packages.
Accessibility: On Sammakkoniemi Camping site all the
piers, dry toilets, a cooking shelter and a campfire place are
accessible by wheelchair. Accessible entrance to the Eco Hostel hut is
also available (mention the need of a ramp when making the reservation).
NOTE. When booking the package from the weshop, select the correct dates and number of nights (the package can be booked max. 2 nights from the webshop).
