How to reach Linnansaari in winter
As soon as the ice is thick enough we mark the ice trail from Oravi to Linnansaari. The ice trail is suitable for tour skating and kicksledding. Next to the ice trail runs a maintained skiing and hiking route. Stay on the marked trails for the sake of your own safety and not to disturb the seals. The ice trail from Linnansaari to Järvisydän is opened in the end of January when the shipway closes (weather permitting).
