Talvella Linnansaari toimii päiväretkikohteena ja kansallispuistoon pääseen retkiluistellen, potkurilla, hiihtäen, kävellen sekä rekikyydillä. Retkiluistelu- ja talviulkoilureitti kulkee Oravista Linnansaaren kautta Järvisydämeen.
