The Lakeside villas Sääksi and Norppa are located on peaceful shore of Lake Saimaa. Villas have private shores with jetties, small sandy beaches, fireplaces and traditional wood heated lakeside saunas with hot tub. Between the villas is a shared activity court where you can play badminton. Otherwise, the villas are surrounded by a traditional rural landscape with forests and fields.
Both villas have 6 bedrooms, indoor sauna (electric) and lakeside sauna (wood), outdoor hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms, laundry room, free Wi-Fi, and spacious living room, which can easily be transformed into conference facilities.
The villas are situated 4,5km from Oravi village where you can find the village shop, Restaurant Ruukinranta, the starting point of a winter hiking trail and in summer boat service to Linnansaari. The reception/equipment rental house is also located in Oravi village, in the same building with the village shop and restaurant Ruukinranta.
The most popular activities are a visit to Linnansaari National Park, rowing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, tour skating and forest walks. There are plenty of guided activities ranging from sauna yoga to seal safaris. To private guided lake excursions your guide can pick you up directly from your own jetty!

- On the yard of Villa Sääksi is a cottage (aitta) with 2 bed rooms (4 beds). Cottage is in use only in summer time. The price is 15€/per person/night.
- Pets
- We welcome pets to the villas as well with 30 €/ extra cleaning fee/pet.
Ecological values are important for us and the villas are heated with geothermal heating and have solar panels. We also recycle. You can find the recycle bins at the villas.

Early check-in and late check-out are always depending on villa availability. Please ask from the reception.
Fully equipped kitchen, china and cooking equipment for 18 persons, heat-reserving fire place, TV, DVD-player, wlan Internet and satellite TV, washing machine, drying cabinet for clothes, open garage for two cars and storage. The villa also has starter kits for toilet and kitchenpapers.
The price includes bed linen, towels and final cleaning.
On the ground floor of the villa it is possible to move freely with a wheelchair, a movable ramp is also available to the villa. Lakeside villas have a gentle and flat path to the beach of the villas. If needed pleas ask for specific measurements and more photos to see if this type of villa is suitable for you.
