The route is planed

The skating route could be planed yeasterday for the first time this winter from Oravi to Linnansaari and the ice is now in good condition. The forecast for today is for a southerly brisk wind of 9 m/s and snowing. The route will be ploughed in the morning and if needed later as well. Yesterday a lake hut was pulled on its place on the ice about halfway between Oravi and Linnansaari. You can stop there to enjoy snacks by the fire (you can pay the firewood fee at the reception or our web shop). Oravi's equipment hire shop provides equipment and route tickets, and the café serves savory or sweet treats from 9am to 5pm, with a soup lunch also available.
