Wets spots on the ice

The ice-skating track from Oravi to Linnansaari is still closed at least today on Saturday, the pancake cafe on the Linnansaari island is also closed. Hopefully the water on the ice freezes quickly to solid ice from the surface and we get to go skating soon. We will check the ice situation on Sunday morning and inform if the skating track can be opened on this weekend. Going to the skating track is forbidden until we inform that it’s open. On the Winter trail (for walkers, bikers, and snowmobile drivers) there is 2 circa 100m long parts of the route that are really wet (circa 10cm of water on ice), although you might find some dry spots when walking on the route. From Linnansaari island all the way to the shipway there is also some wet parts. We recommend using rubber boots on the Winter Trail, this trail is marked with red sticks.
